Why This Lab Matters

This is one of the most critical labs in the entire project.

Many deployments fail not because of technical issues, but because:

  • ❌ No monitoring → Issues go undetected until they become critical
  • ❌ No documentation → Operations team doesn't know how to maintain the system
  • ❌ No training → Customer team lacks confidence to operate independently
  • ❌ Poor handoff → Support burden falls back on implementation team

Prerequisites

  • kubectl installed
  • Kind installed (for local deployment) OR
  • GCP project with billing enabled (for GCP deployment)
  • helm 3.x
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes and monitoring concepts
